We offer the following types of inspections to meet your needs:

  • Standard Full Home Inspection
    A thorough inspection of the home's major systems, this inspection caters to the home buyer who is primarily concerned with the systems that make the home habitable. This visual inspection includes over 300 items, from the foundation to the roof and all the major systems of the house - electrical, plumbing and heating. The inspection takes between 2 and 2 1/2 hours depending on the size of the home.

NEW CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION

New construction inspections for home buyers at critical building stages including pre-drywall, move-in and one-year anniversary inspections. Whether you've been there since the foundation was poured or you are buying a newly finished home, Frame to Finish™ can be custom-tailored to meet your specific needs.

New construction inspections are designed to help home buyers make smart decisions during the home building process and provide peace of mind that a home has been well constructed. It also benefits home builders interested in having an unbiased third-party verify the quality construction of their homes for their clients.

Home Inspections are designed to span the entire construction of a house and includes a pre-drywall inspection, a move-in inspection (done prior to home closing) and a one-year anniversary inspection (prior to the expiration of the builder's warranty). Each phase can also be purchased and performed separately to coordinate with a specific time period during construction.

  • Pre-drywall inspection
    This inspection is performed during the framing stage of the home building process. It covers all the roughed-in systems prior to drywall installation -- when existing or potential issues can be more easily addressed. All major structural components and mechanical systems that are installed are covered in this inspection.

  • Move-in inspection
    This inspection is performed when construction is finished and ready for occupancy, but prior to the final walk through by the builder. This timing allows the customer to get critical information about their new home, and also allows the builder to make any corrections necessary prior to closing.

  • One-year anniversary inspection
    This is an 11th month inspection performed approximately 30 days before the expiration of the builder's one-year new home warranty. This inspection addresses any warranty-related concerns that the homeowner may want to bring to the builder's attention and have repaired before the warranty expires.

Preventive maintenance inspections for homeowners that help to identify current or potential issues within a home and provide recommendations for repairs or preventive measures that may help eliminate future surprises.
