WHAT IS A HOME INSPECTION?
The home inspection consist of a visual examination of the structure, roof, plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical systems, built in kitchen appliances, attic insulation, windows, grading, and drainage of the property. Pools are included in the report at no extra cost and done as a courtesy. These systems and components will be inspected for conditions that may affect their proper operation or safety. Average life expectancy is noted where appropriate.
DO I NEED TO BE PRESENT DURING THE INSPECTION?
By accompanying the inspector the homeowner can observe, ask questions and benefit from the knowledge and experience. Above all, the homeowner or potential homeowner can make a well informed decision and learn preventative maintenance too!
CAN A HOME FAIL INSPECTION?
No. An inspection is a examination into the current condition of your prospective home. It is a snapshot of conditions at an instant in time. Hooty's will not pass or fail a home, but will carefully describe its condition and indicate what actions are needed, if any.
